What this site collects directly

Board & Pin does not ask you to register, does not run a comment form, and does not set a cookie of its own. There is no newsletter and no analytics script on any page.

The web server keeps a standard access log: the requested address, the date and time, the referring page, the browser user-agent string, and the connection IP address. These logs exist to diagnose faults and to block abuse, and are rotated out automatically. They are not profiled, not joined to any other record, and not sold.

Advertising, Google AdSense and the DoubleClick cookie

This site is supported by advertising served through Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.

Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the internet. The cookie that carries this for Google is the DoubleClick DART cookie, which is also used to measure how many times an advertisement has been shown and to prevent the same one from repeating.

Your rights under the CCPA and CPRA

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information is collected, used, shared or sold; the right to delete personal information held about you; the right to correct inaccurate personal information; the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information; and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights.

This site does not sell personal information as that term is defined by the CCPA, and does not knowingly collect or sell the personal information of consumers under sixteen years of age. Requests to know, delete, correct or opt out can be sent to [email protected] and will be answered within the timescale the statute requires.

Children, external links and changes

This site is written for adults cooking at home and is not directed at children. It does not knowingly collect information from children under thirteen.
